Algonquin College Courses

I intend to use this page as a link to information on the Algonquin College Courses I am currently teaching.

At present, the only course I am teaching there is "The Reality and Practices of Off the Grid Living". This course was developed to inform participants about everything they need to know for producing their own off-the-grid power, and conserving whatever power they do produce. This course is perfect for any individual planning to build their own off-the-grid home or cottage, but it will also be beneficial for anyone simply interested in reducing their current carbon footprint.

I'll also be talking about the new Ontario Power One program that will pay you 82 cents for every kilowatt hour you produce with solar panels located on your roof! That's rate, Hydro will charge you 6 to 7 cents for every kWh you use, but they'll pay you 82 cents for every kWh you produce! What you earn there will easily pay your Algonquin tuition!

The Spring session sold out early and the next course is starting on November 3rd, 2009. I'd recommend you register before October 27th.
