Organizational Effectiveness Workshops
The reason Corporate Synergy is well known for our team building, effectiveness workshops and Outdoor Experiential Activities is because our programs are built from a strong understanding of organization development theory. Should your organization wish to bypass the experiential component of these lessons, we are prepared to educate your staff on these principles in a more classic boardroom presentation with our organizational effectiveness workshops.
Mission Statement and Values Identification
One of the greatest investments an organization can make is to clearly define its mission and core values. A company's mission statement is not merely a sentence embossed on a plaque over the desk of the company CEO; instead it defines the true essence of why an organization or department exists. By investing in this time, your company will move confidently towards stronger alignment, improved motivation, and greater cohesion. If we only know what we were about, perhaps we could get about it better. - Abraham Lincoln
Envisioning the Future
Visioning is a powerful tool that allows teams to clarify their desired future. Through thought-provoking individual and group activities, we guide you through the process of creating a descriptive and vivid portrait of what your company will look like 5, 10, and 20 years from now. By creating a powerful vision, you motivate and stimulate your workforce, avoid complacency, and provide direction towards future expectations.
If you grow up... in the suburbs of anywhere, a dream like this seems kind of vaguely ludicrous and completely unattainable. This moment is directly related to those childhood imaginings. And for anybody who's on the downside of advantage, and relying purely on courage, it's possible. - Russel Crowe, on winning an Oscar for Best Actor
Decision Making
Making quality decisions is often one of the most challenging areas for any work group - a multitude of problems arise: people feel left out of the process, they feel their decisions do not count, and they agree to go along with the decision but then sabotage its implementation. The "Decision Making" program helps groups develop positive group intentions for making decisions so there are some guidelines to fall back on when things get difficult. Steps are outlined for crafting effective decision making policy and the specification of different decision rules.Additional Workshops
Robert Greenleaf's "Practicing Servant Leadership"
Learn how fusing "servant" and "leader" in today's competitive world of business encourages leaders to look into themselves, learn what they want to become and bring this knowledge into their daily leadership. In a nutshell, the servant leader is servant first. Becoming a servant leader begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first.
You can't start a plant in a place where it doesn't want to grow. It's the same with people. - Andrew Morikawa, board member, The Greenleaf Centre for Servant Leadership
Appreciative Inquiry
A truly revolutionary method of change management, Appreciative Inquiry (AI) emphasizes inquiry into strengths rather than focusing exclusively on fixing weaknesses. AI can be utilized to significantly enhance customer satisfaction, cost competitiveness, revenues, profits, and employee engagement, as well as the organization's abilities to meet the needs of society.
Corporate Synergy also offers effectiveness workshops in Leadership and Coaching Techniques, Active Communication, Team Building, Problem Solving, and Conflict Resolution. These sessions involve two to eight hours of in-class education and can be customized to suit the needs of your organization.
