Paddle - Trail Run - Mountain Bike
"Survive the Ark" is a 3 day ultra endurance stage race that is guaranteed to put an exclamation mark on your summer! There will be many more details to follow, but currently these following details are available: - "Survive the Ark" can be challenged in Solo or Tandem (2 person), categories. - Although this event is designed as a 3 day stage race, each race can be entered as a lone event. - Each event will offer 3 distances: Short course, Challenge Course, and the Ultra. - To compete in the 3 day stage race standings, the same race distance category must be consistent through the 3 events. - Onsite tent camping is available or nearby accomodations can be arranged in Wakefield. - Buffet style breakfasts and lunch and dinner BBQ's will be available on site. - The paddle section can be completed in canoes or kayaks at the racer's discretion. - This is a "Festival Style" event. Although there will undoubtedly be a considerable amount of pain and suffering out there on the course, the camping area(s) are all about a fun, social atmosphere. There will be aid stations on the course, but camping is self supported. Again though, we will provide some prepared food buffets and BBQ's at reasonable cash prices.
