The Ark was purchased and constructed with the purpose of team building in mind. Team Building and Leadership Development is the NUMBER 1 priority with Corporate Synergy. We're not a rafting company, climbing gym or canoeing outfitter trying to figure out a way to bring in more weekday revenues. Mike Caldwell, the company founder and lead facilitor has 20 years experience in leadership roles as a firefighter, flight paramedic, Arctic Guide, Rainforest Guide, emergency department supervisor and air ambulance manager. Examples from these experiences are used to illustrate the management theory Mike learned during his Master of Science in Management graduate degree. Mike knows team building and leadership.

What do we do?
We provide organizational effectiveness workshops, in-house team building and leadership development activities and outdoor experiential programs to any organization that wants to improve teamwork, build trust, enhance productivity, and develop better communication and problem-solving skills.
How do we differ from other "Team Building" agencies?
We produce tangible results. We don't "climb the mountain because it is there". Elaborate, yet fun (definitely fun!), work-based scenarios ensure that lessons are learned and are transfered back to the workplace.
Corporate Synergy emphasizes custom-designed programs, built to reflect the specific needs of your organization. Although studies have shown that perceived high risk activities and classical, pre-packaged team-building games (the spider's web, plank walk, etc.) are effective in improving teamwork, Corporate Synergy prefers to utilize these activites only as tools to produce lessons that transfer more readily back to the work environment.
